Wahet Al Deafah Hotel ★★★

Rooms and locations was good but staff and systems was very bad no health any safety at all mangers was very helpful person very friendly but lifts was rubbish 3 lifts was for 300 rooms

Early check-in

1) Poor cleaning and house keeping service, 2) Challenging elevators, most of the time intentionally stopped by assigned security guard making inconvenience for guests 3) Food service available for selected guests only, those who are closely associated with Restaurant manager.

The staff was great. Very helpful. Even we arrived early they immediately provide a room. All staffs were very friendly and helpful, Especially Ayman Alzahrani and Ahmad Alsubhi. Thanks guys.

The lifts were horrible. The person incharge has a very big responsibility here and hereafter, people were waiting for hours to reach their room. Many of them have missed jamaa prayer Many times. I myself used stairs to get level 8. People were using stairs to go to their room. Some elevators were out of order for days but the upper administration didn't care.

The hotel was in a super crowded area specially during Umrah timing. The Lifts wasn't reachable due to the enamors crowd. Other lifts were closed and we had to use the stairs to climb to a high floor. No restaurant around the area, and the streets were dirty and horrible smell from the tunnel.

Thanks for Mr.Ahmed (receptionist) was nine and helpful staff.

There's just one elevator is working, how all gusts use one ,this caused tired and unacceptable. Also the bed size was so small.

We booked 2 bed room but they give us 4 bed room that leaves no space for walking within room 10 mins walking away from Masjid Lift was not working during 7-10PM due to over crowding Cockroaches in kitchen No one speaks English Wifi doesnt work properly No milk powder for tea

Location was good. 10 to 15 min to the holly mosque. Nice stuff It is a good and cheap hotel if you want a place to sleep but with no facilities

WIFI was very bad. The elevators sometimes are off service, leading to crowdness when using the remaining elevator

It was almost 10 min walk to Haram Shareef, the stove top facility was awesome ... it helps a lot to families. The hotel was clean enough and the staff was helpful. Altogether i had good stay Alhamdulillah.

There was no Pakistani r any Arabic restaurant around r part if the hotel which was the most difficult thing to manage especially with family. 2 Indian restaurants were there, so good for Indians :)

It was a very nice hotel, big rooms and nice washroom. Beds were very comfy and the store on the groundo floor was very convenient and cheap. Atik, a bellboy, was very kind and helpful.

The hotel was a little bit far from Masjid Al-Haram, it was a 10 min walk but when crowded, 15. The hotel also would’ve been better with a laundromat.

They have one air-conditioner remote for all rooms If you want to change your room temperature you have to call room service to give you the remote to change then return it back

They are a group managing different properties. There is only one contact number to reach them. They ask you which property was booked and that is where confusion starts as no one speaks English. The check in counter also speaks only Arabic and they rely on the bell boys to communicate with visitors.

Haram was near 10mins of walk going is easy but while returning from Haram is bit tiring as it is situated on hill.

Room was Conjusted. Not enough room to move around.

Staff was not cooperative. On internet they mentioned less distance from Haram while they are far from Haram. In Makkah we pay money according to distances. They are cheating with the public and public losing trust on booking.com Thank you Mohsin

I liked that it had the basic bare minimums

I did not like the welcome attitude by front office managing clerks. I didn't like the location as it was far from the Haram Masjid. I didn't like the hotel is next to a stinking trash dump. I hated that they didn't have iftar or Suhur breakfast included even though i was paying a lot of money. I had to go to other hotels for food. I would class it as a 2 star hotel in my honest opinion, 3 stars would be pushing it. Oh and one other thing, the beds are not comfortable. Make your own mind

Rapid accommodation, the smile of the staff and the rapid chick out

The location is over far from Al Haram. The area of the bathroom was very small. The corridor is narrow.

Good location, walk able distance to Haram. This is the main advantage of this hotel.

It has dirty carpets, cleaning is not proper. Staff is good but not really professional to handle the situation.

We stayed there 3 days, then visited Madinah and returned back as we had a further 3 days booked. Right at the start, they took my money and refused to cancel on a refundable booking before the cooling period when I was in the uk as I heard they were not a good hotel. I couldn't do anything so decided to stay. Upon arrival staff didn't understand a single word of English and were very rude. The room was of very inferior satisfactory quality. No room service, nobody to change towels, loo roll, etc. It's no where near 800 yards to Masjid Al Haram so that's untruthful. Upon our return to Makkah after Madinah despite having a booking they claimed they didn't have a room and sent me with 4 bags to another hotel (part of the Deafah group) at 5 am without any help, again being very rude. I had to wait 5 hours for a room and that was twin so one of us slept on the floor for 2 nights. The room was tiny! Although it was a lot closer to Haram (Anwar Al Deafah). Upon checking out they tried to charge me an extra absurd amount of 1200 sars as they said I overstayed 2 hours, they couldn't tell the difference between 00.00 and 12.00. I left at 2.00 which is 10 hours early! Looking at my bank statement, I have been charged approx £40 extra for the entire booking. I travel to Saudi every year so well acquainted with the processes and how things work. This by far is the worst hotel experience ever. Keep clear.
